Then consider our Divorce Support Group - a therapist-facilitated, participant driven weekly conversation for women is all stages of the divorce process.

Cost: Fees are $10 per session. Those who reserve a slot will be committing to attendance at all 10 sessions.
Divorce Dialogue Workshops. Are you still in the "I can't believe this is happening" stage? Or have you been separated for a long time, but just couldn't afford the legal fees? Perhaps you have parenting time or child support issues that you want to consider. Or maybe you just want to know what the divorce process is all about.
Divorce Dialogue Workshops is a four-session series covering the legal, financial, and emotional aspects of divorce. Although these sessions are scheduled as a series, you can sign up for all four, or only one or two as is convenient for you. The first two sessions take you through the legal process of uncontested divorce with and without children. (Although our facilitators are most familiar with procedures in Washtenaw County, residents from other counties will also be able to apply most of the information to their own situation.) The remaining two sessions will help you deal with the pre- and post-divorce finances. Topics alternate from legal to financial depending on the month.
Each session is designed to help you sort through the experience and guide you as you create a team of support. You don't have to do it alone!
Facilitators: The facilitator for the legal workshops is family law attorney Alfreda Menlove. Our financial advisors are Susan Franke of Raymond James & Associates and Emily Elliott, Senior Loan Officer with Huron Valley Financial, Inc.
