The Women's Center is one of the leanest nonprofits around. We have only 4 full-time, 3 part-time and 1 volunteer staff. We are able to keep costs low and quality high because of our loyal and committed volunteers, now numbering over a hundred!
In addition to an active Board of Directors, volunteers include therapists, job coaches, attorneys, financial counselors, event planners, computer and database experts, electricians and office personnel. Among our volunteers are a dozen of Michigan's best and brightest graduate student interns in social work and counseling. We appreciate all the hard-working people who make our low-cost services possible.
Kimberli Cumming, who has been with The Women's Center since 2001, serves as Executive Director. She is assisted by Community Liaison/Agency Administrator Angie (Angela) Moore, Clinical Coordinator Marnie Leavitt, and Development Director Samantha Solis. We are joined by part-time staff members Joan Kauffman, Volunteer Coordinator; Nan Richter, Program Evaluator/Coordinator; Renae Shaw, Bookkeeper; and Pat Albright, Job Coach.
